– Recently, the Passaic County Department of Human Services held
its 2nd Transportation-to-Work Forum at the Passaic County Community College
Public Safety Academy. The central theme of the event was upon "unifying
Paterson’s independent transportation services" and the focus
was upon improving communications between shuttle service providers and

-Businesses throughout Northern New Jersey, as well as the New York metropolitan
area, are being challenged to be among those special employers who will
be named a Best Workplace for CommutersSM.. Meadowlink Commuter Services,
the transportation management association (TMA) for Bergen, Passaic, Essex,
Union and parts of Hudson County, will work with them to achieve this

and Improved Preakness Healthcare Shuttle PATERSON
After 20 successful months of operation, the free shuttle bus system
connecting Paterson and the Preakness Healthcare Centers in Haledon and
Wayne has been modified and enhanced. Free of charge for all passengers,
this special shuttle will now operate 7 days per week during all regular

the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (USEPA) highest
public recognition at a ceremony in Lower Manhattan. Jane Kenny, Regional
Administrator for USEPA presented officials from Verizon, including David
Forti, a Director of Environmental Management, with the prestigious Environmental

Service from Paterson to Elmwood Park and Fair Lawn PATERSON--The shuttle service from the East Side of
Paterson to the Broadway Rail Station in Fair Lawn has been made available
to the public for the past 18 months, through a collaborative effort between
Meadowlink, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), and New
Jersey Transit (NJT).

-Transportation Counseling Center Assists Hundreds of County's Unemployed PATERSON - For more than a year, Meadowlink has been
working with Passaic County's welfare recipients and dislocated workers
to resolve transportation and commutation challenges. A Transportation
Counseling Center was formed by Meadowlink in September of 2001 in conjunction
with the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the County Departments
